Sew Crafty

Hello all. I can't believe it is as long as it has been since I last posted. Time flies when you're busy and worn out. Fortunately during this time I've had a whirlwind of craftiness and creativity going on. I started my sewing class and while we haven't done much yet, I've done a bit of sewing on the fly. I'm having so much fun.

Here is my recently completed DIY nursing cover project. This cover was made for my little sister to give at her baby shower today. I took it as a compliment that she didn't realize for a bit that I had MADE it. Yay! However if she looks closely she will see that its not perfect and that I'm such a beginner, but hey, she'll probably like that its that way.

They have ALL KINDS of fun and easy do-it-yourself things to do.  This cover is the first of THREE that I'm going to make.  I have two friends that I need to make one for so I will be super busy in the next few days.  Wish me luck!!!

Snowy days

I took Plum on her first walk in the snow the other day. Here are some of the things we saw.








All in all I'd say she was pretty happy with the snow. And her fluffy suit.
